The Bar/Bat Mitzvah program comprises a significant chapter in each student's life. All candidates must attend Hebrew
classes, and will be privately tutored by the rabbi. Successful completion of a Bar/Bat Mitzvah includes leading significant
portions of the shabbat evening and morning service, reading from the Torah scroll, and reading from the weekly Haftorah
portion.
Our entire TBT community will work to ensure that this is a very
special moment in the life of each student.

Michael Harris’ Mitzvah Project
For his bar mitzvah project, Michael will be working with Bay Area Turning Point. They provide assistance and shelter to domestic violence and sexual assault victims – women, children and men.
