Hi everyone, Our last book club meeting was about the book “Hello Beautiful” by Ann Napolitano. It is a sad story of a family that kept secrets from each other and faced tragedy and loss. It takes the death of beloved Sylvie to bring the family together again, both physically and emotionally. We all agreed that we did not enjoy reading this book. Ladies please join Sisterhood May 5 at noon for our Mother’s Day Luncheon at Villa Capri Italian Restaurant. Featuring excellent food and a beautiful view of Clear Lake, let’s enjoy visiting with our sisters and honoring all mothers.  We’ve all been touched by sadness, sorrow and terror across the world. Our last book club meeting was about the book “The View From Penthouse B” by Elinor Lipman. It is a post-financial-crash comedy about a 50ish widow and her divorced sister living together in a Greenwich Village apartment. We compared the lives of the characters to our own experiences, living in and visiting New York City. A good time was had by all!
