Sundance II Grill

the South Shore of Clear Lake
East off Egret Bay onto Marina
Bay Drive and left onto
Admiralty follow sign with
Left at Road Divide.
Restaurant is set back on the Left of the Marina.
Please review the Menu on their site. Choices from around the world highlight especially Italian and German items. Their new Chef is amazing. Our friend Darby Main with her Manager, Paula, want to ensure our special time together is comfortable and filled with an excellent serving and dining experience. The restaurant has oldies as well as creative new choices to enjoy. Vegetarian, GF, soups , salads, entrees and appetizers are choices. Give Paula a call to discuss special menu modifications ahead of time.
Happy New Year
Please help us expand/ improve our current list for Sisterhood by providing names of new members and Temple participants as well as those new to the community. Feel free to invite someone that might wish to participate……shhhhh….they may decide to join Sisterhood and possibly TBT. We want to include young Moms too, so please network if you’re comfortable doing that.
We honor those we miss deeply who passed this past year and since Covid 19 including Mardy, Pica, and Jeanne Kahn. Nancy has been in Boston for months and Jeannie moved to the West side of Houston.
So our theme for the luncheon is Auld Lang Syne….Cherishing our memories and embracing light, kindness and hope.
Accepting and perhaps embracing differentness is okay and welcome. Please have fun wearing favorite hats to honor those past and those not able to be with us at the luncheon. Beanies to Classic lovely traditional hats and anything in between would be amazing. Switch up your attire: furs to hoodies. Dress casual to Elegant. Pants are allowed as well as gowns. Have fun with it.
Let’s get creative in advance and think about events you’d like to attend. Dream and feel free to share whether it’s poetry reading, mahjong, art activity, Yiddish expressions, gardening…even with artificial flowers or succulents,
knitting class….. please suggest whatever. What could you or a friend offer as well? Want to stick to luncheons alternate months? Make it your Sisterhood by being a participant sometimes and a hostess another time.
We also, with Nancy’s resignation as President, need a new one or Presidents sharing the position. In addition with the passing of Mardy we need a Treasurer adding an assistant to have access to banking. During crises, life events, illnesses Sisterhood wants to help…In the past, having a Secretary was amazing to report on meetings. By reviewing the notes, we often pick up a new understanding and highlight points of our meeting. With secretarial reporting we make clear any followups.
