Just in time for the High Holy Days, and in fact for any time you are at Temple Beth Tikvah, we are going to hold an Active Shooter Training on Sunday, September 14 at 10:00 a.m. The training will be presented by our friends from the Pasadena Police Department and will be split into two sections: responding to an attack and medical response to an attack.
Lt. Welch of the PPD will present the response to an attack portion of the training, and will tailor his presentation specifically to TBT and our facility, i.e. exactly where we can barricade ourselves and/or hide, evacuation routes, etc.
Please join us for this timely and informative session. Light refreshments will be available. Please let me (Kari) know if you are able to attend the training.
Also, we will need a projector that can hook up to a computer. Can anyone help with this? Let Kari or Stuart know soonest please.
Respectfully submitted
Kari Bowen-Zilkenat, Executive Vice President/Communications, Temple Beth Tikvah
