Our last book club meeting was about the book “The View From Penthouse B” by Elinor Lipman. It is a post-financial-crash comedy about a 50ish widow and her divorced sister living together in a Greenwich Village apartment. We compared the lives of the characters to our own experiences, living in and visiting New York City. A good time was had by all!
Our next book club meeting will be on Sunday, June 9th, at 12:30 in the TBT library. The book is “All the Light We Cannot See” by Anthony Doerr. It is a highly acclaimed bestseller about a blind French girl and a German boy whose paths collide in occupied France as both try to survive the devastation of World War II.
Feel free to bring lunch or a snack.
